Q: Is it completely sealed? keep insects out?
A: Does not have an hermetic seal or is not completely sealed. The little space on the bamboo lid is for make room for the spoon.But it is a very nice storage jar / bowl.
Q: How much does each spoon measure? (1/4 teaspoon, 1 teaspoon, etc.)
A: 10 of these spoonfuls fill 20 mL (or 4 teaspoons) marks. So one is about 2 mL or 0.4 teaspoons.It is a very delicate porcelain item and feels to touch even better, than it looks.
