Airtight bamboo lid with lockable clasp:
The container is sealed with a thick bamboo lid that has an airtight silicone seal and a lockable clasp. With both the seal and the clasp, one can keep the contents sealed, fresh, and out of air circulation. (Note: while the lid will keep liquids from leaking, it is not recommended that one exposes the bamboo lid to liquids continuously.)

Thick clean glass:
Each jar is made of 3mm thick borosilicate glass. Not only does the glass withstand minor bumps, it is safer and healthier than plastic storage containers, the latter which may have BPA that can seep into food.

Generous size:
Each container can hold up to 40 fl oz (1200ml) worth of liquid or its volumetric equivalent in solid foods. The jar is 8.4 inches tall and 4.1 inches in diameter (21.3cm tall and 10.3cm in diameter).

There is a small strip of rubber under the lid where the glass hits the lid. They seal pretty well.Food-grade rubber in line with EU export standards,the lids are very easy to screw on and off. Just one twist for on and one for off.
